Resources for NEM Ontario Event Leaders

National Engineering Month 2024 is approaching quickly! Leading up to the amazing events our partners and volunteers have organized, we want to provide NEM Ontario event leaders, with the tools they need to run a great event. 

Running an event can feel hectic at times, but it doesn’t have to be. We’ve put together a bunch of tools to support event leaders on our website.  There are event planning tools, event promotion tools and so many other great resources you can access. We hope you will use these free resources to help you take the guesswork out of planning your event. 

Social Media Resources for NEM Ontario Events

We also have put together some resources for you to specifically promote your NEM Ontario event on social media. In this article, you’ll find some sample social media posts and other branding that you can use to help spread the word to your audience. You can combine these posts with social media images that we have designed for this year’s events.

Tag NEM Ontario in your post:

Use @nemontario to tag National Engineering Month on Twitter or Instagram. You can also tag our LinkedIn or Facebook page. By tagging us in a post, we’ll be able to engage with you and ultimately raise more excitement for your event.

Use the official event hashtag

By adding the official NEM Ontario 2024 event hashtag (#NEM2024) people will be able to search and find your post. Combining this hashtag with other relevant industry hashtags (#engineering, #engineer, etc.) will also help more people find your post.
