This event is welcoming attendees from diverse backgrounds, diverse interests, and diverse careers to engage and inspire them towards building a narrative of the future together. Our student chapter is a branch of the Women division of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), which is mandated to engage, inspire and connect women and underrepresented communities in computing science as well as other engineering and tech-related fields. We are driven to promote EDI values in the University and in the community, supporting women and underrepresented groups in their learning, networking, and career development needs. Students, researchers, professionals, entrepreneurs, or people who seek to reskill themselves are welcome to this event since they will find a great range of learning opportunities. There will be invited speakers who will present topics on women entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship in tech, health since, autonomous vehicles and rising tech ecosystem in Kanata North, Ontario. There will also be a panel with women PhD students from our university in technology related fields sharing their experiences as women in tech and sharing their goals for after graduation.
