The Wind Engineering, Energy and Environment Research Facility (WindEEE RF) is a specialized suite of infrastructure comprised of: the WindEEE Dome, the Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel Laboratory and the Three Little Pigs; Industry Serviced: Civil engineering and architecture; Insurance; Utilities; Environmental technologies; Policy and governance; Aerospace; Automotive; Forestry and forest-based industries; Manufacturing and processing. With an extensive user base averaging 300 annually across Canada and 150 internationally, the distributed facility helps users experiment in all research areas of wind engineering, energy, and the environment. Our Mission: Make global contributions to building resilience and sustainable communities through multidisciplinary research, innovation, and education of highly qualified personnel.
