This event will be a workshop on overcoming imposter syndrome. It is intended to educate engineering students on what imposter syndrome is, and provide some strategies and tools for overcoming it. We will have guided, open discussions among peers, as well as advice from engineering graduates and mental health professionals. It will be an interactive and informative session, likely taking place over a total of 3 hours. Imposter syndrome can affect young engineers in both professional and academic situations, and learning effective strategies for coping with it is beneficial to all.
