Our event is an educational session and design workshop for earthbag housing, an affordable and sustainable building method with many applications. The event will begin with an introduction to humanitarian engineering and how the attendees can hone their technical expertise to benefit problems they are passionate about. Students and young professionals are encouraged to lifelong learning by considering their own lived experience, values, and real world problems they want to get more familiar with.
