Water for the World Library Workshop
March 12 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Run jointly by National Engineering Month (NEM), the Toronto Public Library (TPL), Engineers of Tomorrow (EoT) and Engineers Without Borders (EWB), the Water for the World (W4TW) program aims to educate students about issues surrounding global access to clean water and the ways this access is linked to poverty.
During National Engineering Month in March, we will work together to deliver workshops, led by EWB engineer and social innovator volunteers, to students in grades 7-8. The interactive workshops, which involve a water filter building activity, are intended to educate, generate insightful discussion, and raise awareness about how students, science and engineering can play a role in promoting access to these resources.
